The best way to prevent the spread of any cold or flu including Coronavirus is to:
-
Wash your hands
(For 20 seconds) -before you eat, after blowing your nose and after using the bathroom -
When you sneeze or cough, do this in to a disposable tissue
If you can’t get a tissue in time, cough/sneeze in to your sleeve -
Put used tissues in the bin immediately
Do not carry dirty tissues around and wash your hands immediately with soap and water after using one -
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth
Don’t touch your face if your hands are not clean or if you have a cold. (Germs can enter your body through your eyes, nose and mouth). -
Try to avoid contact with people who are unwell.
Avoid using public transport if you are unwell. -
Wash your hands when you get to work/home
Wash your hands after using public transport or being in public places.
Following these steps will help to protect you and your family
