Cosmetic Procedures
If you are interested in cosmetic dental procedures, such as whitening, white fillings or veneers, you can discuss this with your dentist at your check-up appointment.
Teeth may discolour over time for a variety of reasons. We will be able to advise you on the most appropriate treatment. Dentists are the only qualified professional able to offer effective whitening treatments, using licensed products. We are able to use stronger whitening gels safely, which will give a longer lasting result.
We are able to offer white fillings as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam (silver) fillings, to restore the function of your tooth. Our dentists can also provide bonding treatments, where small additions of white filling can change the shape of your teeth and improve your smile.
Veneers can be used to improve the shape of your smile. They are thin coverings made in a laboratory specifically for you to even out the appearance of individual teeth. They can be made out of a composite or porcelain. Your dentist will discuss your options with you before starting treatment.
Specialist cosmetic treatments are available with our in-house Prosthodontist, Peiman. For more information about his services please click here.
